Subject: Contest - overview and rules
The success of a company arises from an efficient interaction between its products and services, business processes, organisational structure and IT systems.
That's even more true now when all companies strive to be effective. That's why we promote business process management as a way to fight the crisis.

We already provide a free tool that supports professional business process management - ADONIS:Community Edition. We are glad that our tool has over 10,000 registered users worldwide. In addition we want to offer the community an access to best practices, proven tips and guidelines that facilitate running BPM projects that bring visible results and help the companies reach their goals.

Therefore we open a contest where you can win an Apple iPad 16GB. The goal of the contest is to popularise Business Process Management and share the BPM knowledge by showing real-life cases and usage scenarios, best practices and BPM benefits.

Users can participate in the contest by submitting their BPM stories till March 29th. After that date all ADONIS Community members can vote for the best story to select the winner.

Results of the contest will be published as a freely available eBook with the BPM tips and best practices.

Rules of the contest are simple:
1) By posting an entry with "Submission" in a title in a thread "BPM Contest" on ADONIS Community Discussion Area you submit a story for the contest.
All submissions have to abide the ADONIS Community rules, so please respect the intellectual property rights.

2) User stories should be useful for the community members. Therefore we request posting stories in English and suggest that a story should contain the following elements:
a) description of the usage scenario or the problem that the company/organisation faced
b) general information about the BPM project and information how did it help to meet the organisation's goal/what were the results
c) why ADONIS:CE was used and how did it help during the project
d) lessons learned, best practices, and BPM tips that you want to share with the community

3) Every registered user of ADONIS Community can participate. You are allowed to submit multiple stories. However each submission should relate to a different project. Stories that violate the contest rules or ADONIS Community rules will be removed without the right to appeal. User will be informed about the removal.

4) Submitted stories (or their parts) may be used by BOC within a freely available ebook or in other BOC materials.

5) The deadline for submitting stories is March 29th 23:59 GMT. BOC has right to select the stories that will be subject to voting.

6) Voting starts on March 31st (8 AM GMT) and lasts till April 12th (23:59 GMT). Every ADONIS Community member can cast one vote. The story with the most votes wins. In case of manipulations during voting (e.g. fake accounts for voting) BOC may cancel the voting and select the winner.

7) Official winner will be announced on April 14th and contacted by email. If it fails, additional contact channels provided during registration of the account may be used. If contacting a winner fails or if the shipment of the prize is not possible (e.g. due to export restrictions), prize goes to the participant with the second highest number of votes. Prize will be delivered when the iPad becomes available.

8 ) Prize consists of 2 elements:
a) Apple iPad 16GB for the winner
b) right to buy ADONIS licenses (up to 3) with 80% discount for the company indicated by the winner.

9) There's no right to appeal

10) By participating in the contest you accept the rules of this contest as outlined above.
