BPM Contest submission - Sebastian Jarzębowski

How do you use our tool (what BPM initiatives):

I work at the university and I teach the courses in business processes management. Within the framework of the courses I use the program ADONIS:CE. Students have to do their own project which goal is to optimize the processes in the chosen enterprise.

What do you like in ADONIS:CE:
ADONIS:CE is the useful tool for the students while optimizing practical aspects of business processes management. The students can also conduct their individual project thanks to the ADONIS:CE.

I would like to recommend ADONIS:CE to people who are running the courses or conducting the projects connected with business processes management - it is a very useful tool which will help you to reach positive goals while teaching!

What are the lessons learned / BPM tips that you would like to share with the Community:
To make business process management easier to understand for students start with looking at processes and value flows within enterprise at high level. Later on show mode detailed process flows and introduce additional model types (document model, IT, working environment). After your students understand the big picture and how the processes, products and org. resources interrelate it is time to introduce process improvement (with simulation) and additional scenarios like BPMN modeling or risk management.
