BPMN 2.0 support
As stated in the specification, the primary goal of BPMN is to provide a notation that is readily understandable by all business users, from the business analysts that create the initial drafts of the processes, to the technical developers responsible for implementing the technology that will perform those processes, and finally, to the business people who will manage and monitor those processes.
ADONIS:CE 2.0 provides BPMN 2.0 support with Process Modeling and Choreography Conformance. Along with the Business Process Diagram, a Choreography and Conversation Diagram are included.
With ADONIS:CE, BPMN becomes truly business oriented
In ADONIS a model is much more than just a drawing. Apart from setting general BPMN properties (e.g. task type) you can also add information relevant from a business perspective (e.g. task costs and execution times).
Additional model types allow you to create high level process overviews, define repositories of resources (e.g. applications, documents, roles) and reference them the from BPMN (e.g. to show responsibility for tasks).
We have not only overcome the main issue that critics had with the BPMN specification, but offer BPMN with a best-practice environment serving the needs of the different stakeholders and scenarios within Business Process Management.
